After being sworn to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, EPD swat team member Mike Johnson testified in the Cheri Moore Coroner’s Inquest. During his testimony Johnson, the supposed only .223 rifle shooter at the scene that day, was asked, “So, the first time you fired she was facing you? To which Johnson replied “she was facing me.”
Next he was again asked, “Her body was turned in your direction?” He replied “yes.”
The next question was “you actually saw the, ah sight picture of her body prior to firing?” and he answered “yes I did.”
The confliction in this story arises from the fact that his victim had a bullet hole in the back of her head. How can this be explained? Though the prosecutor at the inquest clearly established by all the witnesses testimony that Cheri was facing the supposed shooters the whole time (Wilcox even had to pull the body forwards to handcuff it), the connection between that fact and the two bullet holes in the back of Cheri, still to this day, has never been explained.
Further, testimony from Johnson shows he believed he fired his gun between 3 and 5 times. Investigators found 4 rifle bullet shells, and the landlord Hauer turned in 1 more he found later. That’s 5 shells and agrees with Johnson’s testimony. The problem is, there were 5 rifle bullet holes in Cheri with no exit wounds, and two additional rifle holes in the wall. That is both two more than shells found and what Johnson remembered firing.
We will probably never know what happened that day, but I believe that both the “inquest” and this “involuntary womanslaughter” charge are designed to cover up a murder. There are five more killings by the EPD, whose version of the stories must be viewed in light of their less than forthcoming past. How can we ever trust a police department that treats a killing by officers like it is none of our business?
Remember what my Original American brothers and sisters have been saying for 300 years: “never trust the white man in the dark blue uniform.”

Of course they lie. Someone who has no problem killing and is so afraid that they shoot everything that moves will also be afraid to tell the truth, especially in an ultra punitive authoritarian system, and think nothing of moral consequences. What's a lie compared to killing?
That those up stream are being called to account, even if a make show exercise, is a good precedent and is especially appropriate when there has been an evident pattern of abuse under their command.
While there is an old saying in militant circles that "shit rolls down hill" there is also one that says "shit floats"...at least some times. Let's hope we have a rare floater.
Love you long time, noel
(sorry- couldn't resist.
Peace Noel,
Don't be sorry - it is better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all.
AND: you make a good point on the rest too.

Dark blue uniforms have been worn
only fairly recently, less than 200
years.
Bullet holes in back of head are not uncommon when people are perceived as facing front.
You all are funny, it's fair trial and let's get all the facts if
some street riff raff get caught
in criminal activity, it's hang em from the nearest tree in this case.
You all are in for a big disappointment. Remember the
Palco suit? Bohica baby. This thing is even thinner.
Peace be with you.
Yes, "Dark blue uniforms have been worn only fairly recently, less than 200 years." And "night-riders" have been here less than 100 years. And SWAT teams have been hear less than 50 years. And the POP program has bee hear less than 10 years. And the EPD death squads have been here less than 5 years. Yes I agree it is a terrible situation that is getting worse.
Bullet DO NOT end up entering from the back of a "target" facing you. Never, ever, anytime!
I disagree that the evidence is "thinner," but I do agree that the desire to punish the state militarized police is lacking. The belief that police can "do no wrong" is stronger among those who call the police then those who have to be accosted by them.
Maybe this will let the cops know that even though we have a spineless politician in charge of prosecuting them right now it's the first step in finding someone who will truly serve the people and not the dark blue uniformed criminal gangsters who kill for the town bosses.
Every cop at that scene is covering up the truth, and that my friend does not make you safe.

It's amazing to read all of the comments on this article. I wonder what would happen if there was no terrible people wearing those blue uniforms. When the real crimanls and truely unstable poeple go unchecked are any you going to stop them? Lets face facts, people who blog about the big bad police are usually cowards who hide behind the freedoms that real men have given thier lives for. I wish that fact did not have to be true. I wish the police amd the military were not needed, but check the body count.."we the people" get robbed, raped and killed daily by bad people and someone needs to be there to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Would Cheri have burnt down that building? No one knows, but clearly she had every chance to stop, and if any of you where truely her friend and knew her mental state, why did she live alone? Why did she have a flare gun? Why did she threaten so many? It's easy to judge others..aka the police..from your PC in your home. Give your phone number to your neighbors and have them call you when they need help. Tell me how it works out for you.
