Peace be with you
I constantly hear people say, “But you chose to be homeless.” No you fucking idiot, nobody! NO-BO-DY! I REPEAT NOBODY!, chooses to become homeless. It doesn’t take too long being homeless to know things are way fucked up down here. The law says you can be homeless, the law also says you can’t sleep, and the cops damn well know you'll break the law.
Fuck that shit! People sleep and they're going keep doing it. They have to or they'll die! You put on top of that all the shit from the angry bigots, having to eat FEMA food in a soup kitchens, having to to sleep in the rain, in the cold, in the mosquitoes, etc, being refused bathrooms when you got to shit your pants, having medical care only in emergencies, being blamed for every bothersome complaint no matter how large or small, being called crazy because you bother the merchants, being micro-case managed by money-hungry poverty-pimps who learned in school how it is to be homeless, watching billions of dollars being given to grant-whores “to solve homelessness” only to see children with only those chemically white bead slices to eat for super, being constantly afraid for you life, having to do the dirtiest, most demeaning jobs to survive, having no place to go, being run out of town by the cops and their quislings, and you’re being asked all the while to give up your dignity.
So why are people surprised that, after numerous kicks in the balls, some houseless persons might say “fuck-you!;” or take on the bigots for their bullshit; or find innovative way's to feed themselves healthy food; or insure they have shelter; or learn that their diet controls their bowels and cleaning up after themselves; or become responsible for their own health; or refute the bullshit “blame the houseless” propaganda; or know that calling a group crazy, in this ever narrowing definition of “norm,” is as much bullshit today as it was when Hitler used it as an excuse to genocide; or see that they are not a “case” and therefore have no need of managing; or expose the funding slight of hand that is so fucking blatant when witnessed by the aid actually given; or feed one-another; or realize that fear is their enemy; or stand their ground; or demand their place in community; or turn that given up dignity space into selflessness, into the best of the human spirit, into words which expose the truth - into "the chosen?" Fuckin A.
No, I didn’t choose to be homeless - that happened - I chose to stay and struggle for those you so like to oppress! All men peoples were created equal, it's just some ain't got no land. I want my land back.

you know, B. would jump down your throat for saying all "men" are created equal without semantically including the womenfolk, but i think we all know what you mean.
However, somebody shit on my million-dollar manicured lawn last night, and even though there were mostly just affluent drunk people carousing about after bar-time, i suspect that it was probably a homeless person trying to jew his way out of paying to take a crap like the rest of us have to! - and what i want to know is where were you - i thought that you were going to clean up after every single houseless person to demonstrate how pure and angelic the houseless are...
heh heh heh, just kidding.
happy bob marley's birthday.
I guess that you've heard about some of the Lakota people declaring sovereignty from the US? (...Lakotafreedom.com or org or something)
Maybe you have heard about the indigenous people of Ecuador suing the US oil company, with the support of the president of Ecuador?

Ah shit I fucked-up saying "man." You're right about B. and plenty of others within swinging range. Maybe I should move to Ecuador.
Speaking of the Lakota's withdrawing from all treaties with the US, did you check out what "It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine" had to say about it? (I think Jan. 28) If you're not checking out the best media since the plazoid then you should be.

"It's the end of the world..." seems pretty cool...i just watched the "300 [the movie about Sparta] as right-wing revisionim" or something like that, and it was great...good link...can't find the thing about Lakota yet.
Ecuador also is demanding it be allowed to put a military base in Florida near Miami or it will not renew the lease on the U.S. base in Ecuador in 2009.

Vilification and victimization has been the order of the day for centuries. The only thing that is different now is the development of a rudimentary collective conscience and the massive denial that conscience has made necessary to continue vilifying and victimizing.
Peace Noel
Did you call the cumulative effects of a national psych-ops policy "a rudimentary collective conscience?" I think you're being a little soft on them. I call it a quisling nation.
It really is amazing how little most people really know about what happens to homeless in this country. As the oil runs out, the stock markets slide, and millions upon millions of Americans become homeless they will begin to realize that they should of stood up while they still had support.
Did you read the letter to the editor in todays Times-Standard? The last line says it all - "I sorely regret my contribution to the Eureka Police Foundation fund for equipment, including tasers."

Truly disgusting if even 10% of this story is accurate. My understanding is that tasers were intended to replace fire arms as a last resort self defense weapon. If they were used that way I would have little problem with the police being deployed amongst us with them. Being deployed with this rabid dog pack is a crime in and of itself. While oversight has clearly been, and apparently remains, lacking it is ultimately up to individual officers to obey the law and their conscience. Nuremberg trials concluded that "just following orders" was not a valid defense for torture and murder for the folks running the concentration camps. Nor should it be allowed a pass now.
We can bet that this will die in the courts who seem to openly state that their job is to "support" law enforcement rather than act as unbiased arbiters.
I will post this rant at the T-S also.
Even as we speak there is another death by taser;
Driver Dies After Being Stunned With Taser
Just down the road a piece.
Peace Noel
Arcata cops went taser happy after the department started issuing tasers. After several homeless people witnessed this tasering Randy Mendosa claimed that the cop "did nothing wrong," but changed APD's taser policy none the less. EPD is going through the same "here's a cattle prod go try 'er out boys" bullshit APD did.
Also research shows that cocaine or "mental health drugs" in the victims system increase the risk of being killed by tasers.
Like I said last month; "Giving cattle prods to the SS is a tried and true method to bring more deaths by EPD on the horizon."

Yes maybe you should move to Ecudor! I'm sure they would appreciate your point of view and all that you contribute to society.
When can you leave? Maybe Noel would like to go with you? I hear the weather is very nice down there.
bye bye
Peace be with you 7:25am
Where the hell is Edudor?
I'm sure I speak for Noel too when I say thanks for your appreciation.

Peace 7:25am
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! I was trying to be a smart ass and I misspelled your misspelling. It's OK 7:25 some people just don't like us. I hope some day you realize how detrimental your contribution, to the conversation concerning these urgent problems that need addressing, is.

tad,
i disagree with your assertion that the comments by the anonymous heckler (7:25)are "detrimental." I think that when idiots flagrantly display their idiocy in support of idiotic ideation, as does the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly, it reveals the true idiocity of the idiation that is often times glossed-over by smooth-talking bigots and fascist mouthpieces and reported as the indisputable truth by the sold-out media that so obediently repeats whatever bullshit propaganda that they are paid to repeat.
thank goodness for the hecklers.
Peace be with you transient
If Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, or anonymous 7:25am actually ever said anything that could pertain then perhaps you are right, but throwing around "you should leave," or "you don't contribute anything," is not leading us any closer to addressing what should be addressed. Though blind-loyalty and stereo-typing was constructive to the Nazis in Hitler's day, it sure as hell was "detrimental" to about 12,000,000 non-Nazis.

yeah, i guess you're right.
although i have to add that i think "ecuador" should actually have a "q" in it somewhere, but i will admit to having spelled it wrong in the first place.
